Myanmar civilization is marked from the first century with the archaeological site which is found from the time of the kingdom Thayekhittaya, Beithano and Hanlin.

The first Myanmar Empire was founded in the first half of the 11th century by King Anwarahta - who had unified the country by strong leadership and outstanding talent. Until the end of 13th century, it was conquered by Mongolia. The second Empire is made up by the King Bayinnaung in the mid-16th century with the capital located in Bago. The third Empire and also the last empire of Myanmar is of King Alaungpaya established in 1752. In the 19th century, during the high time of colonialism, Myanmar was in turn merged into the UK by three wars of Anglo people in 1825, 1852, and 1885. During World War 2, Myanmar was occupied by Japan for almost three years and then was recaptured by the Allied forces in 1945. January 4th, 1948 Burma declared independence and became a sovereign and independent country.
