Welcome to Putao - a snowcapped jewel, a picturesque town in Kachin State, Northern of Myanmar. Then our staff will transfer you to Malikha Lodge. Enjoy welcome lunch and have a soft relax before take about 90 minutes scenic drive to the Upper Sangaung. Enjoy dinner and have a good night sleep before an early start next morning.

Putao – Upper Sangaung – trekking to Wanglai Dam
Enjoy breakfast and then you will start your full day trekking into forest. Today might be the longest trekking day with about six to seven hours with nearly 600 meters of scenic trek through untouched forest. Firstly, you will have a soft trek to the camp near Nam Lang River. All expedition food and equipment will be carried by our porters. If the weather is fine, you will see the spectacular snow-capped peaks towards the border of Arunachal Pradesh and Mt Phonekanrazi. Finally, you will walk downhill through impressive forest of giant trees to our camp near Wanglai Dam village beside the river.
Have a great dinner near the campfire and an overnight stay in comfortable tents.

Trek to Ziya Dam ( 9 miles of trekking)

Take about 09 miles of trek to Ziya Dam, visit local villages, local village school, soak into local traditions
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and strong coffee before start your trek to Ziya Dam to have a spectacular view toward Phonekanrazi and other snow capped mountains. Go through many local villages you will stop at a local school or a local house to know the rural traditions insight. Being a remote part of Myanmar and also not touristic, this area will bring you the friendliest smiles of villagers, the peaceful scenic of farms and breathtaking view of mountain and forest.
Enjoy dinner and have an overnight stay at your tent in forest.

Trek 8 miles to our exclusive river camp near Wanglai Dam
Today we will have a scenic trek back to Nam Lang Valley where place our riverside camp, near a rattan and bamboo bridge across the river. From here you will be impressive by deep pools of turquoise water and some premium swimming holes as well as the tastefully sited of your private camp merge into the surrounding jungle. Relax and enjoy dinner next to a campfire in the camp.

Trek 10 miles to Upper Sangaung; transfer to Putao by car
Today is your last trekking day in the jungle. Take easy trek along the path back to Putao Valley; reach the road head at Upper Sangaung. Our jeep will waiting there to transfer you back to Malikha lodge to relax with a warm bath and a cool glass of champagne.
Enjoy dinner and have an overnight stay in Malikha Lodge.
Spend all day to explore Putao by joining one of the guided activities like mountain biking, a boat trip on the Malikha river or a trip on the back of an elephant. Picnic lunch or a lunch in lodge will be served depend on your chosen. Or if you just would love to relax after 04 day of trekking, we will offer you a complimentary massage.
Enjoy dinner near the open fireplaces and overnight in Malikha Lodge.
Today is also a chance for you to discover more about Putao Valley. There are also many choices for you, like mountain biking, a boat trip on the Malikha river or a trip on the back of an elephant. We will arrange a picnic lunch or a lunch in lodge depend on your chosen. Or if you just would love to relax after 04 day of trekking, we will offer you a complimentary massage.
