Panoramic views of Putao

As soon as you arrive at Putao Airport, you are picked up and transferred to Malikha Lodge for lunch. We will start this tour in the afternoon with the trip come to Yegyawdi village and Nam Lang River on your elephant. The time after lunch is the time for our elephants come back from a night of foraging in the jungle. They are very facile, friendly, and you will see that it is easy to touch them. Explore Putao by riding elephants through the fast flowing water of the Nam Lang River, cross the terraced rice fields to the village of Yegyawdi to have sightseeing of the banks for Nam Lang River. We come back the lodge by the final river crossing and have an opportunity to see the mahouts washing elephants. Dinner and drinks are served at the logde, in front of fireplaces, and then back to your room for enjoying a good night.

Have breakfast to prepare your power for a day of Malikha rafting and boating. A tour of lightly rafting through Malikha River will be exciting due to the picturesque views along the way. Start at Mulashidi suspension bridge, on the boat, we explore a Putao of forested hills and past white river beaches until reach to the picturesque village of Manchanbaw. A picnic lunch is offered at the riverside beach, inside the gorge - a peaceful and quiet place. Strolling during a short time through the village of Manchanbaw and come back to the Malikha lodge for the sunset. Have dinner in the lodge.

After breakfast, you will have a chance to take knowledge about the daily life of locals in Mulashidi village - the village owing many traditional houses of Lisu nationals. After have experience with suspension bridge over the Mula River, we come to Putao Valley and view some of cottage industries. Try a steaming bowl of Shan noodle soup in the Putao Market, and walk around here for local handicrafts.

In the afternoon, we take part in a Trek or Bike Adventure trip. From the Lodge, there are many routes for the trek or bike trip, let's spend a bit of time to discuss and arrange for our route. But those routes are similar with the beautiful mountainous views and fresh air. The weather are usually suitable for light activity as trekking or biking. Dinner is served at the late afternoon.

After a final leisurely breakfast at Malikha Lodge, check out and transfer to Putao Airport to connect with your onwards flight in the direction of Mandalay and Yangon.
