115 Island Exploring

Upon arrival the former capital Myanmar - Yangon, you will be warmly welcomed by our guides and transferred to your hotel for check-in. On the way to your hotel you can easily see that Yangon's infrastructure is undeveloped compared to those of other major cities in Southeast Asia, but it has the largest number of colonial buildings in the region today. Besides, tourists willbe fascinated by the lush green park, picturesque lakes, and the charming people.

Our first stop isSule Pagoda where houses a hair given by the Buddha. Then, we continue toChaukhtatgyi Temple which has one of the biggest and most graceful Reclining Buddha statues in South East Asia. To complete the city tour, we take a visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda which is known as one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments. At dusk, there is nothing more interesting than climbing up to the top of the pagoda, and enjoy the sunset and breathtaking beauty of the plain below.

After having breakfast at hotel, we transfer to the airport for a flight to Kawthaung. Then we drive to Myoma jetty and embark on a boat to start exploration. Firstly, we stop at High Rock which is one of the best Macro spots. The rock is a small islet with a single tree, and has a wall on its north and east sides, and a rocky reef on its south and west. With a huge variety of marine life including blue line snapper, sea horse, and barracuda, you will be hit as soon as you descend.

Leave the High Rock, we continue to go to Nga Mann Island. It can be said that the Island is one of the high spots of a visit to the archipelago, having your face flushed and body invigorated in a way that a power shower can never achieve.

Western rocky is our stop for the third day of discovering. The Rocky is the southernmost dive site of the Mergui Archipelago. Being here, you can experience an exhilarating wall dive and reef dive, and the impressive pinnacles and passages in the middle portion of the island. The marine life here is also spectacular including zigzag clams, spinous sponges, jacks, and so on.

South and North Twins Island lay the 48 nautical miles far west of Shark Cave. The Twin Islands' waters are visited by bull sharks, rainbow, runners and eagle rays. One kilometer to the North West of North Twin laid a series of slopping rocky ridges. These ridges have sea fans, and flower corals.

Our first dive for today is Stewart Island lying northern west of Cavern Island in the Mergui Archipelago and its main feature from a diving point of view. You can descend down the steep walls on either side of the small island and make your way to the other side through one of many large swim - through that is filled with large schools of snappers and fusiliers.

After that, we move to another High Rock before returning to Kawthaung at about 10.30am.

In the morning, we take a return flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, we quickly transfer to hotel for check in and then spend the rest of the day enjoying shopping in Bogyoke market. Coming to the market, we can find everything from common products like cloth and food to luxury goods like gem and jewelry.
