Upon arrival the former capital Myanmar-Yangon, you will be warmly welcomed by our guides and transferred to your hotel for check-in. On the way to your hotel you can easily see that Yangon’s infrastructure is undeveloped compared to those of other major cities in Southeast Asia, but it has the largest number of colonial buildings in the region today. After checking in at your hotel, we will begin our tour of the city. It doesn’t take a long time for tourists to be fascinated by the lush green park, picturesque lakes, and the charming people.
First destination is Chaukhtatgyi Temple which has one of the biggest and most graceful Reclining Buddha statues in South East Asia. Then we move to the Sule Pagoda where a sacred hair relic is enshrined. To complete the city tour, let's take a visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda. The richness of the colors and surrounding atmosphere will leave you breathless.

Yangon - Bagan discovery
After breakfast at hotel, we transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Bagan. Located on the banks of the Ayeyarwady River, Bagan is home of the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world. Upon arrival you will quickly realize why Bagan is used to be called "the city of four million pagodas". You will be led to Shwezigon pagoda, Ananda, and Sulamani temple. Tour guides will give you all the different aspects, architectural styles, and history of each temple.
In the afternoon, we take a visit to Bagan Archaeological museum where houses a collection of more than 2000 items including Buddha statues, stucco pieces, terra-cotta cups and posts. We also go by way of the lacquer ware - making village to witness the skilled hands of the locals creating the sophisticated items.

Today, we begin with a visit to Minkaba Gubyaukyi temple which is built in Indian style with the monument consisting of a large shrine room attached to a smaller antechamber. Then, we head to MyaZedi pagoda and Manuha Temple before ending a useful morning.
In the afternoon, we will move by the exotic horse cart to one of the biggest temple in Bagan, Nan Paya pagoda. The architecture structure of the pagoda is unique. The inner walls were built of baked bricks whereas the outer walls were built of sandstone. Bagan - Mandalay – Mingun - Mandalay
After breakfast at hotel, we transfer to the airport and take a domestic flight to Mandalay. For years, Mandalay has been considered the hub of Buddhism in Myanmar, so the most favorable time to visit is when the monks do their worship and have meals.
Upon arrival in Mandalay, we will be driven to Mandalay pier, and then embarked on a private boat upstream to Mingun. Our first stop in Mingun is the world’s largest unfinished Pahtodawgyi Pagoda. The pagoda's lower terraces feature slabs of marble bearing depictions of impotant scenes from the Jataka, literary works concerning the previous lives of the Buddha. Inside the temple, you can see an inscription stone that details the history of the temple’s construction. Leave the pagoda, we will head to Mingun Bell which has a weight of 90 tons.
After lunch break, we continue our journey to Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, and a gold leaf beating workshop. We also go to Kuthodaw pagoda which houses the world’s largest book stand upright, setting in stone in the grounds.
At dusk, it would be an interesting end for the fourth sightseeing day if we climb up to the Mandalay Hill to enjoy the beautiful sunset and the panorama of the city behind.

Mandalay - Sagaing - Amarapura - Yangon
Say goodbye Mandalay, we continue our journey to Sagaing, particular Sagaing Hill. From here, we take a visit to Buddha cave, Uminthonze Pagoda and Sunooponnyashin Pagoda.
Then, we move to Amarapura for the experience of the monk’s life in Mandalay. We also wander around Ubein Wooden Bridge, the longest teak bridge in the world with the age of two centuries.
In the late afternoon, we take a return flight to Yangon city.
Before taking our departure flight, we have a half day to explore Yangon city. Begin with a visit to Scott market, an ideal place for us to buy some beautiful souvenirs for family and friends. Then walk around the China Town and Indian Town. Transfer to the airport to take your departure flight.
