Yadana Mann Aung Paya, Nyaung-Shwe


Yadana Mann Aung Payais the oldest and most important Buddhist shrinein Nyaung Shwe, Shan State. It was built by King Thiri Dhamma Thawka. And the pagoda’s latest renovation was by King Mindon's son, Saopha Sao Maung in 1274 after being collapsed by a big earthquake.

The beautiful gilded stupa is out of sight as its location of inside a square compound south of the Mingala Market. You will see the unique stepped stupa with the surrounding pavilion which contains a museum of treasures, including carvings, lacquer wares and dance costumes.
