Purcell Tower, Pyin-oo-Lwin

On the main road in the heart of Pyin Oo Lwin town, the Purcell Tower was the present from Queen Victoria, who gave an identical tower to Cape tower in South Africa. Many people also say that the clock was made in 1934 and paid for by Mr Purcell, a resident of Mandalay. Whatever the origin of the tower, it still chimes the tune of the Big Ben, playing 16 notes before the hour, which you should not miss it.
